Hong Kong Secondary School Coding Challenge 2022

We were delighted to host the fun and exciting Hong Kong Secondary School Coding Challenge again this summer following the success of last year’s inaugural Coding Challenge. We received very enthusiastic responses with participation of nearly 400 students from around 50 schools, representing a two-fold increase in the numbers of contestants and participating schools. The Heat Event was held virtually with students competing with their fellow schoolmates to win a place in the Final Event.

The Final Event was successfully concluded on 6th August 2022. Over 100 finalists tested their abilities in coding in this intensive three-hour Final Event held on CityU campus. We were glad to see that contestants did very well to compete for the top places. After an intense competition, the Champion went to XIE Lingrui from La Salle College. Hsieh Chong Ho from Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School and Wong Chun from Pui Ching Middle School won the First Runner-up and Second Runner-up respectively. Our sincere congratulations to all winners and thanks to students and teachers for the support to make the Challenge a success!
