Major Structure

This major has a three year structure. Students acquire fundamental computer science knowledge as well as general knowledge in their first year of study. With satisfactory attainment, students will take the year-long course of IT Professional Internship (ITPP) to gain real-world like work experience. Alternatively, subject to job availability and study schedule, students may choose to work in companies joining our internship scheme. During the internship year, students will take one day off weekly from their work to complete a number of elective courses. Students will also take up a year-long project in which they work independently under the supervision of a faculty member in the last year.
