The Hong Kong Secondary School Coding Challenge came to a successful conclusion on 17 July 2021. Over 150 students from 23 schools participated to take on the challenges in this fun and exciting coding competition. After the First Round, 93 students entered the Final Event, which took place on CityU campus. After 3-hour intensive coding, the champion went to Leung Harris from Diocesan Boys’ School. The First Runner-up and Second Runner-up went to Yeung Man Tsung from Pui Ching Middle School and Xie Lingrui from La Salle College respectively. NASA Space Apps Challenge Hong Kong was successfully concluded on 4 October 2020 after an intensive 48-hour hackathon with participation of 70 students from secondary schools and tertiary institutions to address the great challenges we were facing in our times. The closing ceremony was held on campus with CityU being the sole local host for this annual global event.
