  Travel to Hotel via Keisei Honsen Tokkyuu

  All participants arrived at Narita Airport and took Keisei Honsen Tokkyuu to Asakusabashi station to check in APA Hotel Asakusabashi Ekimae

• Evening

  Dining in Izakaya

  At Toriyoshi Shoten (Asakusa Sushiyadori), a Japanese-style pub presented a variety of chicken dishes. The cozy and lively atmosphere was enjoyable. We ordered the iconic chicken wings dish with mild spicy secret sauce, created through trial and error and aged for a month, and it has a unique taste that cannot be found at other restaurants.

  All participants took the metro to Hongou Sanchoume station and walk 20 minutes to the University of Tokyo.

  A detailed exploration of The University of Tokyo, highlighting its historic roots, campus structure, and global influence.

• 12:10 - 13:30

  Travel to Waseda University via Metro & Bus

  All participants took the metro to Kotesashi Station and took a bus to the Waseda Tokorozawa Campus

• 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM

  Visiting Waseda University

  A visit to Waseda University to learn about its research and innovative achievements and interact with local students to prepare group presentations on AI-related topics.

  Experience the View at Shibuya Sky

  After visiting Waseda University, we had an exciting evening exploring the iconic Tokyo Tower and experiencing traditional Japanese cuisine at a local sushi restaurant.

  All participants took the Tsukuba Express to Tsukuba station and took a bus to the University of Tsukuba.

  Insights and Innovations: Delving into Advanced Research at the University of Tsukuba's Mathematical Modelling & Algorithms Laboratory (MMALab)

  Travel to IT Innovation Inc. via Train

  All participants took the train to Ōsaki station and walked to the office of IT Innovation Inc. .

• 4:30 - 6:00 PM

  IT Innovation Inc. Visit

  We visited IT Innovation Inc. which is an IT company in Japan and provides consulting and project management services helping as many as 300 companies reform themselves.

• 7:00 PM

  Wander through Shibuya Crossing & Manga Shop

  After visiting Innovation Inc., we immersed ourselves in the iconic Shibuya Crossing, famous for its overwhelming flow of pedestrians. This experience, coupled with a visit to a nearby manga store, vividly showcased the bustling urban energy and cultural richness of Tokyo, contrasting sharply with its quieter suburban areas.

  

  

  Walking around Shinjuku

  We explored the vibrant heart of Tokyo, beginning with the mesmerizing 3D cat billboard in Shinjuku and culminating in the historic charm of Golden Gai. Along the way, we indulged in authentic sushi and experienced the neon-lit nightlife of Kabukicho, capturing the essence of this dynamic city.

  Kamakura is the best place for exploring the Japanese culture and photo-taking.

  

  

  

  

  

  A Visit to Sensoji

  On June 6th, our group enjoyed a scenic bike ride to Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, experiencing its vibrant culture and spiritual atmosphere. Later, we savored authentic halal ramen at a nearby restaurant, hosted by a genuine samurai, enriching our cultural and culinary experience in Tokyo.

  Roam through Oishi Park

  Our group of five students went to the Oishi Park in the Japanese countryside with an organized bus tour on our free day. Although our goal of seeing Mt Fuji was not fulfilled, our journey led us to many more amazing views.
