Visiting Waseda University

Arriving at Waseda University

After going to the University of Tokyo, we took the metro to Kotesashi station. We were greeted by a student from Waseda University at the station, who led us to take a shuttle bus to the university campus.

Lunch @ Waseda University Canteen

We had lunch at their canteen. The food there was pretty good. We had a variety of choices, including ramen, rice bowls, etc.

Research Sharing

After lunch, Prof. Shoji Nishimura warmly welcomed us with his welcome address. Afterwards, we listened to a few sharing by research students and professors from Waseda University. The sharing gave us a deeper insight into our Computer Science studies.

We expressed our gratitude to the students and professors by presenting souvenirs.

Group Sharing

After the sharing, we had the opportunity to form groups with students at Waseda University. We were assigned to discuss our views on generative AI and present our ideas. In addition, we also took the opportunity to talk with local students and learn about university life in Japan.
