Cambodia Tech Expo 2022
The Cambodia Tech Expo 2022 Fintech Stage was co-organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (Cambodia), Digital Economy and Business Committee, Techo Startup Center, and Cambodian Association of Finance and Technology. The event is Cambodia's biggest tech and startup event ever and is part of the ASEAN Summit 2022. Chun gave a talk on Demystifying Web3 where he shared how the Metaverse and Web3 will transform the customer experience, applications in the BFSI industry, as well as how Web3 can be used for good to help the underserved population of Cambodia. The theme of the 7th Cloud Forum was Cloudnovatin the Future. Chun joins a panel of distinguished speakers to share on how to Expedite Business Innovation using AI, Blockchain, and Cloud. Chun also shared his insights on the metaverse and Web3. [web]
Quantum HK Symposium
The < Quantum | HK > Symposium is the first large-scale symposium on quantum technology in Hong Kong, and acts as the grand finale to a suite of activities to promote quantum technology in Hong Kong and the GBA. Chun joins a panel on How Can We Make HK a Future Quantum Technology Hub? Chun shared his insights on potential applications of quantum technology in the BFSI industry, particularly in the area of AI and machine learning, as well as the way forward to turn HK into a global quantum hub. MIT Entrepreneurship and FinTech Integrator
Prudential sponsored this MIT Entrepreneurship and FinTech Integrator (MEFTI) program, which is a 10-day venture simulation program for students from MIT and universities in HK. Chun gave a talk on Bringing the BFSI sector into the age of the Metaverse and Web3 to share challenge statement and some industry use case ideas to give students some context for brainstorming new ideas. Chun gave a talk on AI and the Metaverse where he explored various use cases and opportunities of the Metaverse in different industries as well as challenges and limitations. [web]

In this HKCS x TIHK Join Webinar, Chun gave a talk on The Futre of AI in Tax. He shared recent advances in AI and use cases for taxation and tax professionals. Chun also highlighted China's new tax reform that leverages heavily on AI, big data, and machine learning. Chun shared the impact of AI and how it will be changing the future of taxation. He gave examples of how big data and AI is used around the world to prevent tax fraud and evasion, as well as other AI use cases. He also highlighted the potential pitfalls of AI, such as AI bias. As part of the HKCS Webinar Seried, Chun gave a talk on AI, Data, and ESG: Why 2022 will be the year of AI regulation. Chun shared why he thinks 2022 will be the year of AI regulations. In particular, he shared how EU's AI Act may become the gold standard in trustworthy AI. He also shared the growing importance of AI and data governance as well as how AI might become part of future ESG ratings. [web]
