About Me
I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at City University of Hong Kong (CityU), where I also completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science in June 2023. Prior to my doctoral studies at CityU, I earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology in 2013 and a Master of Science in High Reliability Embedded Systems in 2017, both from Capital Normal University.
Research Interests
My research focuses on the storage systems aspects of machine learning. Despite its significant adoption in recent years, designing and implementing storage systems that support real-world deployments remains a major bottleneck. This presents an opportunity for research at the intersection of storage system and machine learning. My study investigates how to re-architect system and application software from the ground-up to take advantage of non-volatile memory, in-storage computing, and other memory and storage technologies to support model training and execution in machine learning.
