Dr. Chan is currently a lecturer at City University of Hong Kong. He was in the industry to manage and develop software applications for more than 10 years prior to returning to The University of Hong Kong to complete his PhD study. After his PhD graduation, he decided to start his academic career. He is active in software engineering research. Dr. Chan is also an honorary assistant professor at The University of Hong Kong, and an editorial board member of the Journal of Systems and Software.
