Dining in Shinjuku Yakiniku Gyutan no Lemon

After checking in at the hotel, we immediately went to a restaurant that we had done research on that is famous for its grilled beef tongue. The restaurant called Shinjuku Yakiniku Gyutan no Lemon, it is the leading shop in Osaka.

As we had not reserved the restaurant since it was too late when we decided to choose this restaurant, we had to queue outside the restaurant and wait for the seats. Luckily, we only queued for around 20 minutes and entered the restaurant. Unfortunately, there were no tables for 4 people, so we separated into two tables next to each other.

We all ordered the same meal, including grilled beef tongue and A5 Japanese black beef with a glass of lemonade called Lemon no Lemonade. When the meal arrived, we were all shocked by the set meal; it not only included grilled beef tongue and grilled A5 Japanese black beef, but it also included salad with sauce, beef soup, beef curry, and miso for eating with beef tongue together.

The taste of the whole set was fantastic. The beef tongue is chewy, and the corporation of miso brings out a different style of beef tongue miso. The grilled A5 Japanese black beef with lemon juice added made us unable to stop eating. The beef curry brings a distinct taste to the whole set; the beef inside is fully covered with curry and smells nice. Our drink, Lemon no Lemonade, got a new experience; when the drinks were given to us, they came with half of a lemon and a juicer; we needed to make lemonade ourselves.

After our meal, a staff came and asked us where we were from; we chatted with her, and she spoke some Cantonese to ask us, “Does it taste good? “ We were all surprised and made the whole store full of laughter.

We had a very great time at Shinjuku Yakiniku Gyutan no Lemon! The restaurant brought us a warm and excellent dinner. We highly recommend this restaurant. If you want such a fabulous time and meal, you should give Shinjuku Yakiniku Gyutan no Lemon a try!
