Satay Street, Lau Pa Sat

A Memorable Visit to Satay Street, Lau Pa Sat
We had the pleasure of visiting the iconic Satay Street, located in the bustling Lau Pa Sat. This vibrant and lively area is a food lover’s paradise, offering a diverse range of dishes from seafood and traditional Singaporean cuisine to Indian food.

Satay Street Experience
Adjacent to the food court, we discovered a road filled with food tables and kiosks where sellers cooked skewers on top of barbecue grills. We couldn’t resist trying a set of skewers, which included shrimp, chicken, and beef, accompanied by rice cake, sweet and spicy soy sauce, and peanut sauce. The succulent shrimps were particularly delicious.

Food Inclusivity
What stood out to me was the inclusivity of the place, catering to various dietary restrictions, including halal and vegetarian options. Singapore’s commitment to providing halal food was evident, with separate trays for halal and non-halal food.

A Must Visit Place
In conclusion, Satay Street at Lau Pa Sat is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the rich culinary culture of Singapore. With its wide variety of dishes and inclusive options for those with dietary restrictions, it truly offers something for everyone.
