Dinner with Yonsei

The talks and souvenirs done, we swapped the seminar room for a Korean restaurant a short walk from campus — and brought the Yonsei students along. The rain had finally eased.

A bulgogi hot-pot came to the boil, the charcoal grill did its work, and the banchan kept arriving until there was no clear table left. The research-talk version of us gave way to the chopsticks version — and an afternoon of mutual introductions turned, over one long table, into something more like friendship.
