In association with WISE 2000, this workshop focuses on Web-based education and learning as a specific theme.  Given the population of the Internet access, open learning and flexible delivery offer an excellent opportunity for education.  All papers related to Web-based education and learning are welcome.

Paper Submission Guidelines


Authors are invited to submit complete and original papers.  Papers that may be submitted include those that have not previously been published or are not currently being reviewed by another journal or conference.  All submitted papers will be evaluated based on originality, significance, and relevance.

Manuscripts should include an abstract and be limited to 5000 words.  To speed up the review process, authors are encouraged to submit their papers electronically according to the submission methods announced in the conference web page: http://www.cs.cityu.edu.hk/~wise2000.

For hardcopy submissions, 5 copies of the manuscripts should be posted.  All submissions should reach the following address on or before the specified deadline:

The proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press.  In addition, 1-2 best papers are likely to be selected for journal publication.
