I received my B. E. and M. E. degrees in electrical
engineering, both with the First-Class Honor (both ranking the first), from
Zhejiang University,
Hangzhou,
China, in 2001 and 2004, respectively, supervised by Prof. Wei Wei. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in
computer science from City University of Hong Kong in 2007 with the
Outstanding Research Thesis Award, supervised by
Dr. Sam Kwong.
From March 2003 to March 2004, I was a
research assistant at the Department of Computer Science, City University of
Hong Kong. From April 2004 to July 2004, I was an intern at the
Digital
Manufacturing Lab, GE Global Research-Shanghai, Shanghai, China. From
September 2007 to October 2007, I was a senior research associate at the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong.
Since November 2007 I have been a research fellow at the Department of
Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong. From December 2007 to August
2008, I was invited by
Prof. Charles K. Chui,
the Consulting Professor of Stanford University and the Curators' Professor
of University of Missouri St. Louis, as a
visiting scholar at Stanford University.
In March 2008, my application for
Humboldt Research Fellowship was approved by
Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Germany. From March 2009 to May
2010, I will be a Humboldt Research Fellow in Germany. |
