Guideline for Submitting the Final Version (Accepted
papers only)
The proceedings of COCOON 2005 will be published in Springer-Verlag series
Lecture Notes in Computer Science. Read carefully Springer's instructions
on preparing the manuscript before you submit the final version. See
http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.
We request that you use the llncs.cls style file, which you can
download from http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.
One author of each accepted paper must sign the copyright form
(download here), which is
also
located at
http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/copyright.html.
Your signed copyright form must be sent to us, either by Fax or mail,
on or before May 9, 2005. May 9, 2005 is also the deadline for us to receive
the final electronic files.
The final submission (maximum length 10 pages, 50 US$ for each extra page)
comprises three components:
1. completed and signed
copyright form,
2. electronic files:
-text and .eps
files for the figures),
- the final DVI
file (for papers prepared using LaTeX or TeX),
- the final
PostScript file (not in reverse page order),
- if possible, the
pdf file of the final version of your paper.
3.
registration form for at least one author
per paper.
Please send your copyright form carefully to:
Prof. Lusheng Wang
Department of Computer Science
City University of Hong Kong
83 Tat Chee Ave., Kowloon,
Hong Kong, P. R. China
phone: (852) 2788 9820
The copyright form can also be sent by fax at (852) 2788 8614. Please clearly
write "Attention: Lusheng Wang" on the form since our whole Dept. shares the
fax machine.
Note: We must receive the copyright form by May 9, 2005 at the latest.
Please mind the mailing delays (Hong Kong is far away from North America and
Europe) and post your submission early enough.
Send your electronic files as e-mail attachments to the address
cocoon05@cs.cityu.edu.hk
To avoid confusion, name all files in the following fashion: Use
always 10 characters plus an extension (cocoonNNNC.XXX). cocoon is a
fixed string. NNN is your submission number.
To distinguish several files of the same type (e.g., EPS
files) use characters a, b, c,... in the field C.
XXX identifies the file type (tex, ps, etc.). For example, the files in a
final submission could be named cocoon009a.tex, cocoon009a.dvi, cocoon009a.ps,
cocoon009a.eps, cocoon009b.eps, and cocoon009c.eps. We would appreciate it if
you could compress the files with zip, tar, tar.gz, or tar.Z format
(but please do not use WINZIP). Use cocoonNNN as the base name for the
compressed file (e.g., cocoon009.zip).
Following these instructions not only makes the organizer's life easier,
it is very possible that it will also make your own life easier (e.g.,
you will not be asked to re-send your files, etc). If you have any
questions concerning the final submission, contact
cocoon05@cs.cityu.edu.hk
