Profile

Dr. Kwok received his MPhil in United Kingdom and PhD in Information Security from Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He joined the City University of Hong Kong in 1986 and is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science. His research interests include information security and management, computers in education and web-based information systems.

Dr. Kwok has extensive teaching and academic planning experience. He has joined many programme planning teams for undergraduate and taught postgraduate study programmes. He was the Programme Leader for Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computers in Education (2001-2006). He is currently teaching Information Security and Management, and Topics on Computer Security.

Dr. Kwok has served in many programme committees of international conferences in various capacities. He also serves in the Executive Committees of the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE), the Global Chinese Society of Computers in Education (GCSCE) and the Chinese Society for Inquiry Learning. He is currently the Chairman of the IT Division of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.
