Course leader of a M.Sc. in Software Engineering/Information System Management by Staffordshire University (in cooperation with City University of Hong Kong). Act as a Computer Resource Officer in the Department of Computer Science. Supervise student final year project and M.Sc dissertation. Major accomplishment: Acted as a course planning committee and obtained approval of offering a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from CNAA. Published many research papers in the area of database. Successfully organized ten International Hong Kong Computer Society Database Workshops as Workshop chairman.
1988-90	Hong Kong Polytechnic	Lecturer	Teach Database, Fourth Generation Language, Expert System, and Management Information Systems to Bachelor of Arts students in computing Studies and Master of Science students in Information Systems. Supervise Bachelor of Arts final year student projects in Expert Systems. Major accomplishment: Acted as a Master of Science course planning committee member to consult with CNAA for the approval of the course. 1987-88 Cullinet Hong Kong, Limited Customer Support Consultant Presented and trained customers on the use of IDMS/R database, ADS/Online fourth generation language, and other software tools. Supported Cullinet products at the customer's sites. Major accomplishment: Established Cullinet's first technical support office in Hong Kong.
1980-87	Bank of America	Senior Technical Consultant	Designed, coded and tested an International Banking Systems Loan Application on IBM 3081, written in IMSADF and Cobol. Defined functional specifications with users. Developed IMSADF transactions, batch post and batch reports. Major accomplishment: Installed runbook for production use. Implemented IMSADF transactions on time in a tight schedule. Assisted others to promote team work.
1978-80	National Cash Register Corporation, Wichita, KS	Senior Programmer/ Analyst	Developed physical and logical I/O operations of Interactive Multiprogramming Operating Systems (IMOS V) on NCR 8270, written in 605 Assembly. Major accomplishment: In charge of all system commands for the operating systems developments.
1974-78	Digital Equipment Corporation, Maynard, MA	Software Engineer	Managed a RSX-11M operating systems as a system manager on PDP 11. Supervised operators for daily operation. Major accomplishment: Designed and installed a Charging Systems on PDP 11, written in Macro 11 and Fortran.
