Your Task

The "sky" behind the CityU logo contains fragments of some source code. Your task is to try to figure out:
  1. who wrote this source code, and
  2. what the program does

Clues

I have some clues to help you solve this puzzle:

  1. Source code is written by one of the "Fathers of Computer Science"

  2. This person recently wrote a book about the Bible

  3. The source code is available from the web and/or from one of his books

  4. The function names printed on the water bottle may be useful
