- For the non-CS students, a "gentle" way to get started on learning VB.NET might be to first read secondary school introductory level books. For example, you can read a free trial (shareware) version of the book called "Visual Basic .NET For Kids" or purchase it from their website.
- Microsoft has a simple one page tutorial on VB.NET.
- Tools:
- If you do not have Visual Studio .NET, don't worry. You can still write Visual Basic .Net software. Just download this free IDE from SharpDevelop.
