Both my mother and father are deceased.  I feel very close to my mother's youngest brother, Sam Douglas, and his wife Sid, who have always shown great love for me and I feel as if Sam is my older brother.  My Uncle Sam and Aunt Sid are two of the finest people I know. 

My Uncle Sam and Aunt Sid did some research on our family history on my mother's side.  In their research they confirmed our family's Native American blood.  One of my interesting relatives is my 5th great grandmother Hannah Hale. There is a controversy about who is the Creek Nation was my 5th Great Grandfather, in one site it was stated that she was married to a chief named Far Off Warrior however this is now disputed. One thing for sure is the blood line from Hannah Hale forward is well documented.
