Internet Algorithms and Protocols
We study design and analysis of algorithms and multi-agent protocols, with a strong emphasize on practical applications over the Internet environment, including Internet information retrieval, strategic data mining, collective action mechanism design, economic incentive modeling of Internet agents, Internet trust management protocols, efficient digital resource allocations, as well as other interesting and important issues in Internet Economics. Typical projects include email and website validation, phising and spam detection, personalized and peer-to-peer information retrieval, incentive compatible e-communication models, incentive compatible implementation of fairness principles for Internet communities, cost efficient information security models, pricing models of digital goods and Internet services.
