Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Management

The Department has a track record in performing research in many facets of artificial intelligence (AI), such as intelligent search engines, software agents, constraint programming, data mining, expert systems, pattern recognition and learning and evolutionary algorithms, such as artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, swamp algorithms and cellular automata. The Department has also been active in research on the use of state- of-the-art software technologies and algorithms to build new architectures and frameworks for enterprise knowledge management.
