CityU has developed a new web-based education system for primary school teachers and students and is promoting this advanced educational tool to all local primary schools.

CityU held the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Multi-media Building on 26 March. The building will be a focal point for the development of creative media in Asia.

Almost 1,000 students from 72 schools gathered at CityU for the 21st Century Competence for Youth (IT in Visual Arts) Competition co-organised by the Education Bureau, Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited and the AIMtech Centre of CityU.

The Smart Ambience Therapy developed by CityU’s AIMtech Centre has become an exhibit at the Hong Kong Science Museum. The exhibit’s opening ceremony was held on 22 February.

The innovative projects of CityU students and graduates receive six honours at the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2007.
