Travel Grants

We are pleased to announce the availability of two travel grants - one sponsored by the IEEE Technical Committee on Distributed Processing and IEEE Technical Committee on Simulation while another one sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

• Travel grant sponsored by the IEEE Technical Committee on Distributed Processing and IEEE Technical Committee on Simulation:
  This grant is for both students and researchers, but preference is given to students.
  The applicants should provide:
  • a one page statement concerning their expected benefits of attending the conference;
  • a one page CV; and
  • a short letter from their academic adviser stating the reason for granting the award.
  Please send applications to the Steering Committee Chair, Prof. Dharma Agrawal, by August 20, 2009 (Thur).
• Travel grant sponsored by the National Science Foundation:
  This grant is limited to students from USA only.
  The applicants should provide:
  • a one page statement concerning their expected benefits of attending the conference;
  • a one page CV; and
  • a short letter from their academic adviser stating the reason for granting the award.

Eligable persons may apply for both types of travel grant, but are limited to being awarded only a single grant.
