Course Aims & Objectives:
This course introduces the main concepts underlying the transformation of business processes, explains the enabling role of information technology and demonstrates the application of different tools to the redesign of business processes. A special attention is paid to preparing business processes to the electronic commerce context. On completion of the course, students should be able to a) understand the main concepts of TT-based business transformation; b) understand of the enabling role of IT; c) apply business transformation tools; d) participate in the redesign of the main business processes to adapt them to the electronic commerce context.
