The programme is designed for in-service primary school teachers. The candidates for the programme must satisfy the following minimum requirements:

• A Teacher Certificate from the Hong Kong Institute of Education,
  or
• An equivalence, or evidence of academic and professional attainments acceptable for this purpose to the University.

Applicants will be expected to have sufficient command of the English language in which the course will be taught and examined.
